The verification of proper T cell function is crucial for any adoptive T cell transfer experiment. However, it is not currently clear which T cell characteristics are the most important for anti-tumor efficacy. It will be important to identify these characteristics and determine how to promote them to achieve more effective adoptive cell transfer strategies. We offer the reagents, kits, and assays needed to assess the characteristics of proper T cell function, including cytokine production, proliferation, and cytotoxicity.
Analyze the expression levels of up to 111 cytokines simultaneously, using only standard Western blotting equipment. Save time and discover novel responses with this unbiased approach.

Identify and measure the frequency of cytokine secreting cells with the most accurate and sensitive ELISpot kits available. Our single and dual-color complete ELISpot kits are ready-to-run out of the box and require no assay development. Alternatively, we offer ELISpot Development Modules that contain the basic components required to develop your own ELISpot assay.
Accurately and reliably measure IFN-gamma, TNF-alpha, and IL-2 levels with our ELISAs. Quantikine® ELISA kits are the most referenced ELISAs on the market and everything you need is included in the kit. If you want a more flexible option, we also offer DuoSet® ELISA Development Systems that are adaptable to multiple platforms. They include a capture and detection antibody, mass-calibrated standard, streptavidin-HRP, and a detailed protocol.
Ella™ runs Simple Plex™ Assays. These novel assays are fully automated, quantitative, multianalyte immunoassays that will transform your research possibilities.
Milo™ lets you identify cellular subpopulations that aren't visible in traditional Western Blots, so you can study distinct cell types in your heterogeneous sample. Milo™ gives you information about your cell populations that you can’t get any other way! Here’s how:
This proliferation assay utilizes XTT, which can be used to assay cell proliferation, cell viability, and/or cytotoxicity. The procedure avoids radioactivity and gives reproducible and sensitive results. XTT is added directly to the culture medium and cleavage of the tetrazolium salt to formazan occurs only in metabolically active cells.
Calcein AM provides a simple, rapid, and accurate method to measure cell viability and/or cytotoxicity. Calcein AM is a non-fluorescent, hydrophobic compound that easily permeates intact, live cells. The hydrolysis of Calcein AM by intracellular esterases produces Calcein, a hydrophilic, strongly fluorescent compound that is well-retained in the cell cytoplasm. Cells grown in black-walled plates (Catalog # DY991) can be quantified in less than two hours using a fluorescence plate reader with excitation at 490 nm and emission at 520 nm. The kit contains reagents for ~1000 tests.
