D-Aspartic acid
Chemical Name: D-Aminosuccinic acid
Biological Activity
D-Aspartic acid is an endogenous NMDA receptor agonist with similar activity to the L-isomer. Also a non-metabolizable substrate for EAA uptake systems. Modulates melatonin synthesis in the pineal gland.L-isomer also available.
