Scientific Data

Detection of GPR116 in HEK293 human cell line transfected with human GPR116 by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human cell line transfected with human GPR116 was stained with either (A) Mouse Anti-Human GPR116 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB112481) or (B) Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (MAB002), followed by APC-conjugated anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody (F0101B). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins.

Background: GPR116
GPR116, also known as Adhesion G protein-coupled receptor F5 or ADGRF5, belongs to the LN-TM7 subfamily of the G protein-coupled receptor 2 family, also known as adhesion GPCRs. It exists as a highly glycosylated disulfide-linked dimer at the cell surface. GPR116 may have a role in the regulation of acid-base balance and is also being investigated for it's involvement in adipocyte biology.
