Scientific Data
ZNF24 in HepG2 Human Cell Line. ZNF24 was detected in immersion fixed HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line using Goat Anti-Human ZNF24 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3637) at 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (left panel, red; Catalog # NL001) and counterstained with DAPI (right panel, blue). Specific staining was localized to nuclei. View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Cells on Coverslips.

Background: ZNF24
Human ZNF24, also known as ZNF191, is a 42 kDa transcription regulator that belongs to the Kruppel-like zinc finger gene family. It contains an N-terminal SCAN box domain and four C-terminal tandem zinc finger motifs. ZNF24 is ubiquitously expressed. A second splice isoform that contains a 4 residue substitution for aa 191‑368 of full-length ZNF24, has been reported. Human and mouse ZNF24 share 95% amino acid sequence homology.
