Specificity

Detects mouse Frizzled-1 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. Detects mouse Frizzled-1 in Flow Cytometry. In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross‑reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) Frizzled-9 is observed and no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Frizzled-5, rmFrizzled 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, or rhMFRP is observed. No staining is observed on normal human PBMCs.

Detection of Frizzled‑1 in D3 Mouse Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. D3 mouse embryonic stem cell line treated with Retinoic Acid for 3 days was stained with Rat Anti-Mouse Frizzled-1 APC-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB11201A, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (IC006A, open histogram). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins protocol.

Detection of Frizzled‑1 in NS0 cell line transfected with mouse Frizzled-1 by Flow Cytometry NS0 cell line transfected with mouse Frizzled-1 were stained with Rat Anti-Mouse Frizzled‑1 APC‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB11201A, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC006A, open histogram) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0113). Members of the Frizzled family of proteins serve as receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway and are involved in a variety of developmental processes. Frizzled proteins each contain a divergent N-terminal signal peptide, a highly conserved extracellular cysteine-rich domain, a variable-length linker region, a seven-pass transmembrane domain, and a variable-length C-terminal tail.
