Biological Activity

NVP 231 is a potent, selective and reversible ceramide kinase (CerK) inhibitor (IC50 = 12 nM in vitro). Displays selectivity for CerK over sphingosine kinases (IC50 ≥100 μM) and other lipid kinases.
