Detection of Progesterone R/NR3C3 in Human Breast Cancer Tissue. Progesterone R/NR3C3 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human breast cancer tissue using Sheep Anti-Human Progesterone R/NR3C3 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5415) with Anti-Sheep IgG VisUCyte HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC006). Background: IgG

VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer is a biotin-free detection reagent which overcomes problems of avidin-biotin detection chemistry, such as endogenous biotin staining and the need to do additional quenching of endogenous biotin and avidin present in some tissues. With VisUCyte HRP Polymer it is possible to achieve specific staining in cells and tissue much faster than the conventional avidin-biotin-HRP procedure. Due the high sensitivity of VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer, the working concentration of primary antibodies may be 2-3 times lower compared to the conventional avidin-biotin-HRP protocol.
