CCCP
Chemical Name: Carbonyl cyanide 3-chlorophenylhydrazone
Purity: ≥98%
Biological Activity
CCCP is a protonophore. It disrupts mitochondria membrane potential by transporting protons across the mitochondrial inner membrane, which interferes with the proton gradient and ATP synthesis. CCCP is a widely used as an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation to induce mitochondrial depolarization.Technical Data
