MIA in Human Pancreas. MIA was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human pancreas array using Mouse Anti-Human MIA Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB20501) at 25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Mouse HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS002) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Lower panel shows a lack of labeling if primary antibodies are omitted and tissue is stained only with secondary antibody followed by incubation with detection reagents. Human MIA Antibody
By Abby Tyler on 05/22/2019
Application: ELISA Sample Tested: Serum and Plasma Species: Human

AF2050 was tested along with MAB20501 in a sandwich assay. Although both antibodies worked as either the capture or detection, AF2050 had significantly higher affinity, which allowed quantification at a lower dilution of samples. The version of the assay we ended up using was AF2050 as both the capture and detection.
