Background: AEBSF
As compared to Phenylmethanesulphonyl fluoride (PMSF), another commonly used serine protease inhibitor, 4-(2-Aminoethyl-benzensulfonyl fluoride hydrochloride) (AEBSF) is water soluble, less toxic and more stable. Effective concentrations of AEBSF are 0.1 to 1 mM.
