Cultrex Mouse Collagen IV Summary

Cultrex Mouse Collagen IV is a purified stromal extracellular matrix protein that can promote cell adhesion for cell and tissue culture. It may also be used to supplement customized coatings, hydrogels, bioinks, or medium formulations for cell culture.

Why Use Cultrex Mouse Collagen IV?

Collagen IV is a major component of basement membranes, which underlies epithelial and endothelial cells and surrounds muscle, fat and nerve cells. It can be used as a thin coating on tissue culture surfaces to promote cell attachment and proliferation and to study its effects on cell behavior.

Negative for the presence of bacteria and fungi.

Intended Use

Cultrex Mouse Collagen IV is used as a substrate for cell culture adhesion. The recommended working concentration is 1-10 μg/cm^2 (1-10 μg/mL) of growth surface depending on cell type. Cultrex Mouse Collagen IV (3410-010-02) is supplied as 2 vials of (3410-010-01) each containing 0.5 mg of protein.
