Detection of Claudin-11 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human Claudin-11 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) human Claudin-11 or (B) irrelevant protein, and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Claudin-11 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4280R) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). Background: Claudin-11

Claudin-11 is a 207 amino acid multipass membrane protein in the claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Claudin-11 is widely expressed and is involved in epithelial remodeling during spermatogenesis and inner ear mechanotransduction. Claudin-11 is up‑regulated in some cancers. Human Claudin-11 shares 94% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Claudin-11.
