Scientific Data
Detection of Claudin‑17 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human Claudin-17 by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with human Claudin-17 was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Claudin-17 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4619, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). Detection of Claudin‑17 in A431 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Claudin-17 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4619, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Background: Claudin-17
Claudin-17 is a 224 amino acid multipass membrane protein in the Claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Human Claudin-17 shares 80%‑82% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Claudin-17.
