Scientific Data
Detection of Human GPR35 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human ileum tissue and MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human GPR35 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10181) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for GPR35 at approximately 34 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Background: GPR35
Human G protein-coupled receptor 35 also known as GPR35 (also known as Kynurenic acid or KYNA receptor) is a 7-transmembrane domain G protein-coupled receptor encoded by the GPR35 gene. Polymorphisms in the G protein–coupled receptor GPR35 are associated with increased risk for certain inflammatory diseases of the bile duct and large intestine that have increased cancer risk.
