Scientific Data
Detection of GPR75 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human GPR75 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) human GPR75 or (B) irrelevant protein, and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPR75 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB67281) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on Mouse IgG2A Isotype Control (MAB003). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins protocol.

Background: GPR75
GPR75 is a 540 amino acid, 7-transmembrane G-protein-coupled glycoprotein receptor mainly expressed in retinal pigment epithelial cells and brain. Polymorphisms in humans have been associated with macular degeneration. GPR75 has been identified as a receptor for CCL5/RANTES in the brain. Collectively, the extracellular domains of human GPR75 share 75% amino acid sequence identity with the corresponding regions of mouse and rat GPR75.
