Scientific Data
Detection of Human/Mouse Bax Minus C-Terminus by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of L-929 mouse fibroblast cell line and THP-1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1.0-2.0 µg/mL of Human/Mouse Bax Minus C-Terminus Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB883) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (HAF007). A specific band was detected for Bax Minus C-Terminus at approximately 21 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 4.
Bax in A549 Human Cell Line. Bax was detected in immersion fixed A549 human lung carcinoma cell line using Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse Bax Minus C-Terminus Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB883) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Bax in RAW264.7 cells. Bax was detected in immersion fixed RAW264.7 cells using Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse Bax Minus C-Terminus Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB883) at 25 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
