Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human NKG2A/CD159a PerCP-conjugated Mono-clonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1059C) and Mouse Anti-Human NCAM-1/CD56 PE-conjugated Mono-clonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB2408P). Background: NKG2A/CD159a

NKG2A, also known as CD159a, is a type II transmembrane receptor having a single extracellular lectin-like domain and a cytoplasmic ITIM motif. It associates with CD94 and is expressed on NK cells and some activated T cell populations. The NKG2A/CD94 complex delivers an inhibitory signal upon recognition of its ligand, HLA-E.

The purpose of this staining is to look at the expression level of NKG2A in NK among different HIV-1-infected patient cohorts. The PBMC was stained with NKG2A/CD159a PerCP together with CD56, CD16,Lin(CD3/CD14/CD19). the staining of NKG2A was good.
