Detection of Human Nope/IGDCC4 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human uterus tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Rabbit Anti-Human Nope/IGDCC4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10345) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF008). A specific band was detected for Nope at approximately 150 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Nope/IGDCC4 in Human Placenta. Nope/IGDCC4 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human placenta tissue using Rabbit Anti-Human Nope/IGDCC4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10345) at 3 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Rabbit IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC003). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to syncytiotrophoblast. Background: Nope/IGDCC4

IGDCC4/Nope is a type I transmembrane protein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed mostly in embryonic muscle tissues and in developing and adult nervous systems. The structural similarities between IGDCC4 and the guidance receptor of the DCC family suggest that IGDCC4 may have similar functions as the DCC family.
