Detection of Slug in HeLa Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Slug Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # IC7408G, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (IC003G, open histogram). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (FC005). Background: Slug
SLUG, also known as SNAI2, is a zinc-finger transcription factor. SLUG is a transcriptional repressor which may suppress E-cadherin transcription and be involved in an epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT).
