Scientific Data
Detection of SOX10 in U-2 OS Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. U-2 OS human osteosarcoma cell line was stained with Rabbit Anti-Human SOX10 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB28642, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB1050, open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0110). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed and permeabilized with FlowX FoxP3 Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (Catalog # FC012). Background: SOX10
SOX10 belongs to the SOX family of transcription factors which display diverse roles during development. In the central nervous system, SOX10 is required for the terminal differentiation of oligodendrocytes and myelination. In the peripheral nervous system, SOX10 maintains pluripotency of neural crest stem cells and suppresses neuronal differentiation.
