Biological Activity
O-Propargyl-puromycin (OP-puro) is a puromycin analog that is incorporated into nascent polypeptides. It is used for the labeling of newly synthesized proteins in cells and whole animals in vivo. O-Propargyl-puromycin can be click-conjugated to fluorescent azides for visualization by fluoresence microscopy. The product does not require methionine-free conditions. It can also be used in flow cytometry.Optical Data for O-Propargyl-puromycin
