Biological Activity
Prodrug metabolised in vivo to Olmesartan (Cat. No. 4616), a selective non-peptide angiotensin II type I receptor (AT1) antagonist. Selectively inhibits angiotensin II binding to AT1 receptors in bovine adrenal cortical membranes (IC50 = 7.7 nM), with no effect on AT2 receptors.Technical Data
