LDL Receptor in Mouse Liver.

Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor (LDL R) was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse liver using Mouse LDL R Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2255) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific labeling was localized to the bile canaliculi. View our protocol for Chromogenic IHC Staining of Frozen Tissue Sections.

This antibody specifically recognizes mouse LDL R. In ELISA experiments, this antibody shows approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human LDL R.

LDL Receptor in Human Liver.

Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor (LDL R) was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver using Human LDL R Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2148) at 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific labeling was localized to the plasma membrane of hepatocytes. View our protocol for Chromogenic IHC Staining of Paraffin-embedded Tissue Sections.

This antibody specifically recognizes human LDL R. In ELISA and Western blot experiments, this antibody shows approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse LDL R.

LDL R in RAW 264.7 Mouse Cell Line.

Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor (LDL R) was detected in immersion fixed RAW 264.7 mouse monocyte/macrophage cell line using Mouse LDL R Biotinylated Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # BAF2255) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Streptavidin (red; Catalog # NL999) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).
