Detection of Claudin‑11 in OVCAR‑3 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. OVCAR-3 human ovarian carcinoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Claudin-11 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4280, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG F(ab')₂Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B).

Background: Claudin-11

Claudin-11 is a 207 amino acid multipass membrane protein in the claudin family of epithelial tight junction proteins. Claudin-11 is widely expressed and is involved in epithelial remodeling during spermatogenesis and inner ear mechanotransduction. Claudin-11 is up‑regulated in some cancers. Human Claudin-11 shares 94% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Claudin-11.
