Biological Activity
Lercanidipine hydrochloride is a L-type Ca2+ channel blocker that displays higher vascular selectivity than felodipine (Cat. No. 2960). Causes peripheral vasodilation with only weak negative inotropic activity. Antihypertensive. Also exhibits anti-MERS-CoV activity in Vero cells in vitro (IC50 = 2.36 μM).Technical Data
