Specificity
The specificity of this antibody was confirmed by direct ELISA on mouse IgG2B monoclonal antibodies, and it does not cross-react with IgG1, IgG2A, IgG3, IgM, IgA, or IgE antibodies. By flow cytometry, this isotype-specific secondary antibody detects primary antibodies of the mouse IgG2B isotype, and does not detect primary antibodies of mouse IgG1, IgG2A, or IgG3 class.

Detection of Mouse IgG2B Primary Antibody by Flow Cytometry Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with A) Mouse Anti-Human CD8 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1509, Mouse IgG2B, filled histogram) or isotype control (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), or B) Mouse Anti-Human CD4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3791, Mouse IgG2A, filled histogram) or isotype control (Catalog # MAB003, open histogram), followed by Rat Anti-Mouse IgG2B isotype-specific secondary antibody (Catalog # MAB0043) and then Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG SecondaryAntibody (Catalog # F0113).
