Detection of Human NF kappa B1 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line and Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Human/Mouse NF kappa B1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2697) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for NF kappa B1 at approximately 50 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 4.

Background: NFkB1

Nuclear Factor kappa B1 (NF kappa B1 or NF kappa B p50) is a member of the NF kappa B/Rel family of transcription factors. NF kappa B1 dimerizes with other members of the NF kappa B/Rel family to regulate expression of genes that participate in immune, apoptotic, and oncogenic processes.
