Scientific Data
Detection of Integrin beta 1/CD29 in Human PBMCs by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were stained with Mouse Anti-Human/Porcine/Equine Integrin beta 1/CD29 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17783, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (MAB004), open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0102B).
Detection of Integrin beta 1/CD29 in Porcine Mesenchymal Stem Cells by Flow Cytometry. Porcine mesenchymal stem cells were stained with Mouse Anti-Human/Porcine/Equine Integrin beta 1/CD29 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17783, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB004, open histogram), followed by PE-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0102B).
Detection of Integrin beta 1/CD29 in Equine PBMCs by Flow Cytometry. Equine peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were stained with Mouse Anti-Human/Porcine/Equine Integrin beta 1/CD29 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17783, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (MAB004, open histogram), followed by PE-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0102B).
Integrin beta 1/CD29 in Porcine Mesenchymal Stem Cells. Integrin beta 1/CD29 was detected in immersion fixed porcine mesenchymal stem cells using Mouse Anti-Human/Porcine/Equine Integrin beta 1/CD29 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17783) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell surfaces. Integrin beta 1/CD29 in A549 Human Cell Line. Integrin beta 1/CD29 was detected in immersion fixed A549 human lung carcinoma cell line using Mouse Anti-Human/Porcine/Equine Integrin beta 1/CD29 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17783) at 25 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to plasma membrane.

Background: Integrin beta 1/CD29
The Integrin beta 1 subunit, also known as VLA-beta chain or CD29, associates with at least ten different Integrin alpha subunits. Within aa 21-728, human Integrin beta 1 subunit is 94% aa identical to pig and sheep Integrin beta 1 subunits.
